Coach 3 have arrived safely in France a little later than planned but all is well. For some it has been a very long day with Auchterarder Brownies leaving at 6am for their flight and Gisburn Brownies not far behind them on their first coach trip of the day. Bromsgrove Brownies were the first group on the main coach with Hereford and Basingstoke Brownies joining on the way. Gatwick Airport was the first time all of coach 3 was together (although 1.5 hours later than planned). The next stop was the Eurotunnel and the delays we had heard about from coach 4 weren't as bad as we feared and we got straight into the queue for a train. The girls were very excited about getting on the train and were surprised that the coach would fit! Thankfully we did fit and the girls enjoyed having a walk around the train. We soon arrived in France, the first time outside the UK for a number of girls and then it was a short trip to Le Chateau d'Ebblinghem. We quickly found our rooms and it was straight down to dinner which the girls were relieved was 'normal' food and really nice! We then had some time to play some games and get to know each other as we are from all over the UK, as well as finding out a little about Brownies all over the world! Now the girls and in bed and the leaders are having a chat before heading to bed too as we have a really early start for tomorrow's adventures!
