The art of making a croissant - Coach 7

Bruno the baker this morning described to the Brownies the artisan method which has been used in the Bouiangerie d'Ecoueuilles for over 100 years.


Carys from 1st Norris Bank Brownies (left below) was fascinated by the wood-burning oven where 130 croissants can be baked at one time. For Bethaney (right below) making croissants by rolling up triangular pieces of dough was an enjoyable challenge - she was amazed how quickly Hugo could do so.


...And we didn't leave empty-handed...
