Coach 4 - Day 2 - Boulogne and the boulangerie

BOULOGNE-SUR-MER
Everyone was up bright and early and after eating breakfast - cereal, pain au chocolat and French bread we all made our packed lunch and set off for Boulogne-Sur-Mer for fun on the beach before Sand Yachting.  The girls all thought that this activity was brilliant and comments were "really liked it"; "very good"; "absolutely fit"; "amazing" and "really fun"!

I must admit they all seemed very tired walking back to the coach after sitting on the sea-front to eat their packed lunches.  We then met up with Michael, our coach driver, who took us to meet Bruno.

BOULANGERIE D'ECOEUILLES
Our next stop was at the Boulangerie d'Ecoeuilles where we met Bruno who demonstrated the traditional way to make bread, pain au chocolat and croissants.  The Brownies all had a turn at making either a croissant or pain au chocolat.

We had heavy rain before we left Bruno's and again during the evening but nothing like the rain last weekend when the roads were flooded.

For our French evening the Brownies made crepes which proved interesting watching them crack eggs and mixing the ingredients  without spilling!!  They all cooked a crepe but turning them was more difficult than they thought so most had to have help.  Another activity they really enjoyed - maybe because it involved food and eating!!!!!
